SHIPPING METHOD

We appreciate your order and will work hard to make sure that it gets to you in the safest, most reliable,  and most cost effective way.  You will receive an email notification with tracking information when your item ships.  Be sure to contact us at online@babys1st.com or you can reach customer service at 1-877-835-5491 if you have any questions about shipping.

At times, orders with multiple items will ship individual items from different locations.  All items from the same order may not arrive at the same time.

FREE SHIPPING ON QUALIFYING ORDERS OVER $99!*

Baby's & Kid's 1st offers free shipping on qualifying orders over $99.  Free shipping is applicable to small parcel items that ship via standard UPS or Fed Ex ground service.  As soon as your order reaches $99 of applicable merchandise, free shipping will be added to your order.

A flat rate of $9.99 will apply for all orders under $99.

**Orders with multiple large items, furniture orders, and other large orders will incur an additional shipping charge. Please see the following options.

FURNITURE AND OVERSIZED ITEMS**

Orders with multiple large items, furniture orders, and other large orders will incur an additional shipping charge. Furniture and other large items are shipped via freight carriers.  All orders with large or oversized items will require a 2 to 4 hour window for delivery, which will be communicated either by phone or by email. Delivery will take place once the entire order is available to ship.  Please see the following options. 

LOCAL FURNITURE DELIVERY

Local deliveries of large items are contracted through a local delivery service who has worked almost exclusively with Baby's & Kid's 1st since 2005.  The professional delivery team has delivered and set up thousands of nurseries in that time.  They are trained to handle your furniture with care, treat your home with respect, and work efficiently to be in and out of your home as quickly as possible.

Local Curbside Delivery - $50

  • Delivered to:  Outside of your home.  This option is a 1 man delivery that delivers the large items to the curbside, garage, or front door.  You will be responsible for bringing the furniture inside the home.
  • Assembly:  Assembly service is not available with Local Curbside Delivery.  For assembly services please select White Glove Delivery
  • Furniture will remain in boxes or packaging with this option.  

Local Nursery Delivery - $115

  • Delivered to:  Inside your home to the room of choice.  This option includes carrying the items up 2 flights of stairs (4-15 steps each).  Call for additional quote if the delivery will go up additional flights of stairs.
  • AssemblyAssembly service is not available with Nursery Delivery.  For assembly services please select White Glove Delivery
  • With the exception of the crib, all furniture packaging will be opened and disposed of by the shipper.  The crib will remain in the box with this option. 

Local White Glove Delivery - $130 (1 piece)

  • Full service delivery for 1 piece of furniture - Ideal for anything that must be assembled.
  • Delivered to:  Inside your home to the room of choice.  This option includes carrying the items up 2 flights of stairs (4-15 steps each).  Call for additional quote if the delivery will go up additional flights of stairs.
  • Assembly:  Light assembly is included with this option.  Light assembly means that pieces will be bolted or screwed together according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  • Packaging will be opened and disposed of by the shipper.
  • The delivery team will not anchor furniture to the walls

Unlimited White Glove Delivery - $165 (unlimited number of furniture pieces)

  • Our top service level.  An unlimited number of items from 1 single order are delivered to the room of your choice, and items needing assembly will be assembled.
  • Delivered to:  Inside your home to the room of choice.  This option includes carrying the items up 2 flights of stairs (4-15 steps each).  Call for additional quote if the delivery will go up additional flights of stairs.
  • Assembly:  Light assembly is included with this option.  Light assembly means that pieces will be bolted or screwed together according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  • Packaging will be opened and disposed of by the shipper.
  • The delivery team will not anchor furniture to the walls
DELIVERY OUTSIDE OF OUR LOCAL AREA

Deliveries of large items outside of our local area contracted through a delivery service of Baby's & Kid's 1st choosing, such as UPS freight, Southwest Motor Transport, or other reliable freight services.   

Standard Curbside Shipping - $200

  • Delivered to: Curbside only.  Because the items are heavy, you will likely require help from a friend or family member to get the order inside your home and to the room of choice. For delivery inside the home and/or upstairs please select either Nursery Delivery or White Glove Delivery options
  • AssemblyAssembly service is not available with Standard Curbside Shipping.
  • Package opening and removal is not available with this option.

White Glove Delivery outside of our local area – Pricing and availability will vary.  Please contact us for questions about this option.

WHERE DO WE SHIP?

Baby's and Kid's 1st ships to any street address in the contiguous 48 US states.  Baby's & Kid's 1st does not ship to any PO Boxes or APO/FPO addresses.

 

SHIPPING TIME

Small Parcel Items

We do our best to get your item to you as quickly as possible.  Stocked small parcel items generally ship 24-48 hours from the time of your order via UPS, Fed Ex ground, or by another reliable carrier.  Transit times for these orders will vary, but will typically arrive between 2 and 10 business days from the time of shipment.  A tracking number will be emailed to you when your order ships.

Furniture and other Special Orders

Certain items that are not in stock will be placed as a special order.  Lead times on special orders will vary according to availability.  We want to insure that you are aware of the special order wait time.  After an order is placed online for a special order item we will contact you via email to approve the wait time.  Baby's & Kid's 1st shall not be held responsible for manufacturer delays.  Special order items are not eligible for return or cancellation after the item has shipped from the manufacturer.  See returns
