Babys1st.com Returns Information
We are committed to offering products of high quality, safety ratings, style, and value. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not satisfied send it back within 30 days and we will offer a full refund minus shipping costs.
Returns may be made at any of our store locations, or may be sent back to the warehouse. All returned items must be new (unused), in their original condition with all original packaging intact. All warranty cards, manuals, and paperwork must be included. Returned items that do not meet these requirements will be subject to 20% restocking fee.
We cannot accept returns on special orders, washed, dirty, or used products. All final sale and clearance items are not eligible for return. We also cannot accept returns on diapering accessories, potty seats, bathtubs, breastfeeding products, and feeding accessories. Additionally, for safety reasons, any car seat that has been removed from the packaging and/or installed in a car will not be eligible for returns.
All returns must be accompanied by an order or invoice number, and a copy of your receipt. All refunds and exchanges are subject to approval by Baby's 1st quality control. Refunds will be returned to the original method of payment. Please allow 14 days for us to receive and process returns.
Return Shipping Costs
Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs. Baby's 1st will not be held responsible for returned items that are lost in transit. We recommend using a reliable carrier such as UPS and requesting a tracking number. If you need a prepaid return label, email firstname.lastname@example.org. Shipping costs from the prepaid labels will be deducted from the refund amount.
Due to the high cost of shipping furniture items, returns are not suggested. Please make sure to contact us to be sure that all of your questions are answered before ordering furniture items.
Any refused or undeliverable merchandise returned to our warehouse will be subject to a refund less a $10 charge plus our actual shipping cost. Our actual shipping cost is not the $9.99 standard shipping under $100 or free shipping over $100.

Damaged or Defective Merchandise
In the unlikely event that your merchandise arrives damaged, please email us immediately with your invoice number and a photo and description of the damage. In order to be eligible for an exchange, you must notify us of the damage within 48 hours of receiving the merchandise.
Damages to Furniture Items
If your furniture item is damaged, or defective we will do everything we can to make it right. Minor damages can often be touched up by a furniture medic in your area with a “better than new” standard. Damages that are beyond repair, defective merchandise, or merchandise with missing parts will require a replacement of that part. If your item was delivered, the replacement will be sent to you at no charge. If the item is picked up from our warehouse, you will be responsible for the exchange.
If the package appears even slightly damaged, take a picture and write “package damaged” before you sign for delivery on the form that the delivery team keeps. If the package is badly damaged, you can refuse the delivery. It is important that you contact us IMMEDIATELY so we can file a claim with the shipping company.
